China Technical Manager Building Product

Your role

• Provide technical knowledge regarding the application of Dramix® fibres and other building products towards customers and own sales teams within a specific geographical area. More specifically, train newly hired sales reps technically.
• Formulate practical solutions towards the technical questions of the customers.
• Develop the technical knowledge of the local sales teams in a systematic way.
• Represent Bekaert and the product portfolio of the business unit building products in important meetings organized by official authorities, universities, fairs etc.
• Act as technical expert in an application field: follow the trends and guide the other regional technical managers technically. The purpose is the creation of a network of technical managers who all have their own expertise on one application field (e.g. flooring, dams, tunneling, precast , etc…)

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree, with a major in Civil Engineering; an MBA or Marketing School training will be a strong plus.
• Several years' experience in design, the construction industry or a sales field.
• Results-orientation and high sense of urgency.
• Willingness to travel intensively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
