SAP Project Lead Production

The SAP Production Lead Production will be a member of the Global SAP Competence Center and will work in close relationship with the SAP Process Lead Production & Project Engineering processes, the Information Systems Business Unit and the application service provider.

Your role

In his/her primarily role of project manager, the Project Lead will be responsible for:

• Autonomously assuring the roll out in SAP projects of PP-PPPI-QM functionalities in accordance with guidelines and SAP standards defined by the SAP Process Manager P&P, including the steering of application provider resources in the design, build and deploy activities and the coordination with key users. 
• Assisting production and planning departments in assimilating the use and further exploiting SAP information for manufacturing and engineering activities.

As assistant to the process lead and in line with the SAP guidelines, contribute to:

• Defining SAP standards to support production activities in the Group and monitor the application thereof
• Consolidating SAP business expertise across entities on the organisation of related activities and the standardised use of SAP functionality to support Production and Project Engineering processes.
• Contributing to organising, managing and participating in a hands on way in SAP P&P helpdesk activity across entities, in co-ordination with the regional first line support people, the provider’s SAP teams and the Business Units’.
• Consolidating, monitoring and assuring availability of training material and documentation for end users on SAP P&P functionality implementation.
• Monitoring efficiency and integrity in the use of SAP P&P systems and initiating corrective actions where needed.
• Leading cross entity finetuning of the use of SAP functionality in co-ordination with provider SAP teams and Business Units.

Your Profile

• You have in depth know how in the organisation of  production and/or project engineering processes  and/or the use of SAP functionality in the areas of PP, PPPI, QM  with  PS and/or SCM knowledge as an asset.
• You have experience or have been involved in international SAP implementation projects and/or SAP support activities.
• You are a team player.
