Your role

To research and develop burner & heat exchanger systems

1. Makes improvement proposals concerning gas burner-heat exchanger systems and gas combustion systems, and if necessary based on sound theoretical analysis.
2. Does research and evaluates flow phenomena and noise generation as a result of combustion processes in heat exchangers and translates the research results to practical applications.
3. Implements and develops efficient FEM and CFD modeling techniques in order to generate new design proposals, both for burners and heat exchangers. Enables engineers to apply the procedures.
4. Is responsible for close interaction with and guidance of assignments towards academic partners, BEng/BTC and knowledge institutions and represents the company at a purely scientific level.
5. Is responsible for experimental setups and measurement programs. Enables engineers to use these setups for their R&D work.
6. Stays in close touch with customers, analyzes customer requests and translates these in drafts.
7. Takes into account valid environmental and return requirements, efficient combustion processes, effective production methods and application of high-grade materials.
8. Participates in projecteams as a projectmember.

Your Profile

MSc Engineering or PhD with 2-5 yrs experience and growing capacities. Is a self-starter, with a broad view.
