Technical Hydraulic Hose Reinforcement Manager

Your role

• Closely follow market and competitor developments, as well as advancements in technology.
• Inform customers of technical developments and market trends, and offer technical assistance
• Look actively for new applications for existing or new products and support potential customers in developing applications and finding solutions to problems.
• Report directly to the Director of Marketing and Sales, Americas and functionally to the Global Product Market Manager
• Responsible for coordinating product approvals, rolling out new products and following up on the technical implementation of process improvements for hydraulic hose customers.
• Track and keep expenses within budget.
• Travel to customers and marketing events to support the business and follow-up on quality issues

Your Profile

• Ability and willing to travel approximately 50% of the time (domestic and international) to support the above functions.
• Fast learner and can work in a fast paced ever-changing environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• Can create and present dynamic presentations to a variety of audiences.
• Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent team player.
• Experience in a relevant field (minimum 3 years) in the production, design and/or testing of hydraulic hoses or a related area. Knowledge of hydraulic hose wire is a plus.
• Proficient in commonly used software programs (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Self-motivated and good listening skills.
